Inevitable End from Sweden have released "Reversal", a 3 song Thrash/Death EP worth listening. Bass player Emil Westerdahl answered some questions via e-mail.

1. Can you tell me the history from Inevitable End?
Inevitable End started three years ago in Nässjö, Sweden. In the beginning we played a pretty old school type of death/thrash metal. A self titled demo was recorded and released two years ago. In the beginning of 2005 some line-up changes took place, and the musical direction turned into a modern type of death metal.

2. Between your two demo CDs, you have integrated new members in the band, can you tell me about this?
About one year ago Joakim [vocals] and Jonas [guitar] quit the band. Joakim wanted to concentrate more on his hardcore band Intohimo [www.intohimo.tk] and Jonas quit the band because of the traveling distance and also because of lack of interest in the music we play. About three months after they quit the band we found our new singer Andreaz, and since we decided to move on with one guitar player instead of two, the line-up was completed.

3. Musically, I mean your new CD "Reversal" has a more Death Metal touch, your first demo was more Thrash, right?
You are right. After the first demo we decided to take the music into a more brutal direction. Since all of us enjoy death metal it felt kind of natural for us to do so.

4. Can you tell me more about the lyrics about the three new songs "Redintegration", "Past Darkness" and "Indweller"?
The lyrics have the intention to catch the listener's attention and making their head spin into new undiscovered light. Describing life and the experience of it through metaphorical images which hopefully will reveal itself to the listener on a personal level.

5. "Reversal" has a good sound, can you tell me more about the recording?
Thanks! We recorded the demo in Hoborec studios in Jönköping, Sweden. It's a small, cozy studio which is operated by two members from the great hardcore band Grace.will.fall. All people involved worked really hard, and we are satisfied with the outcome.

6. Any plans for a full-length album, hope so.
We want our first album to be really good, so we don't want to rush things. Maybe we will release something next year, maybe in 3 years. Time will tell.

7. Which bands do you like you/influence Inevitable End?
This one is really hard. The list of bands that inspires us in different ways is huge, and I think it's also different for each member. We try to take the good parts of different styles, and mix them together to create something different. I think we are mostly influenced by death metal, but also thrash metal, grind core, and good ol' rock'n'roll.

8. What can we expect for your gig at Elements Of Rock?
Death metal chaos.

9. Any last word?
Thank you so much for this interview, and to the readers for the interest. If you want more information about us, or want to listen to some samples, please visit our website: www.inevitable-end.com. Rock on!
