Wer hat nochmal behauptet, dass ABBA tot sein? The Ark treten mit "Prayer For The Weekend" in die Fußstapfen und legen eine Party-CD in die Regale der Musikhändler, welche vor Glam-Rock und 80er Jahre Pop nur so strotzt. Alles ist pop-typisch überproduziert und lässt nahezu keinen Raum für Besonderes bzw. Wiedererkennbares. Die Band um Sänger Ola Salo schaffte es im Eurovisionsongkontest 2007 auf Platz 18 und damit nur einen Platz vor Deutschland. Nahezu alle Songs von The Ark bleiben Disco- bzw. Party-tauglich, wobei aber nur "The Worrying Kind" wirklich herausstechen kann. Ob es dieses Album aus der Masse herausschafft, bleibt fraglich. Die Zutaten an sich stimmen schon - nur ist es zu glatt bzw. schwach, um sich wirklich festkrallen zu können.
